About sport
Tennis is one of the most traditional and widespread individual sports in the world. It combines physical fitness, technical skill, and strategic thinking. Thanks to its various playing styles, it is appealing to a wide range of players.
It is played over a net on a defined court, where the goal is to place the ball so that the opponent cannot return it. Tennis is an ideal sport for long-term improvement in fitness as well as for recreational play.

How to play tennis
Tennis can be played as singles or doubles. You can adapt the game from a casual rally to a full match.
An ideal sport for an active stay at the complex.
Rules
Tennis is played between two players (singles) or two pairs (doubles).
In singles, the inner sidelines are used; in doubles, the outer ones.
A match starts with a serve, when the serving player standing behind the baseline sends the ball diagonally into the opponent's service box (the bounded area diagonally behind the net), and after each point changes the side of the court from which he serves.
Each player has two attempts at serve; if both fail, he loses the point (double fault).
If the ball touches the net on the serve and lands in the correct service box, the serve is replayed
Serve alternates after each game between players; in a tiebreak it alternates after the first point and then every two points.
After the serve is played, the ball is hit back and forth over the net until one of the players makes an error or the ball bounces twice.
A player scores a point if the opponent sends the ball outside the boundary lines, fails to return the ball, or makes a fault on serve.
During a rally, one bounce of the ball is allowed; if the ball bounces twice, the point goes to the opponent.
Scoring goes in order: 15, 30, 40, game; at deuce 40:40, a player must win two points in a row (advantage and game).
A set is won by the player who wins at least 6 games and leads by 2 games; at 6:6 a shortened game (tiebreak) is played to 7 points with a two-point margin.
The match is usually played as the best of three sets.
The ball must be played so that it goes over the net and lands in the opponent's designated court before bouncing twice.
A player must not touch the net or hit the ball on the opponent's side unless the ball has crossed the net or this occurs within a permitted swing.
The ball that rebounds off the net during play and lands in the correct court remains in play.
